I thought I would have a go at canvassing Avon leaflets to see if I could get anymore customers this way. Anyway we printed off the latest campaign flyers from the Avons rep website, they looked good and I had printed my details on them so hopefully potential customers would get in contact with me or at least visit my online store, the only thing I was worried about was the size of them, they are A5 size and made me nervous if people would noticed them or even be able to read the small print, but thought I would try anyway. I have 160 houses in my territory which probably doesn't sound alot but believe me it is when your walking around them! I decided to canvass instead of buying loads of brochures because as you have to buy the brochures and I'm starting out, buying 160 brochures plus about another 20/30 brochures for friends and family is not in my budget at the moment. Someone on one the Avon groups on Facebook suggested to me to only buy 20 to 30 brochures and deliver...

I've been working really hard on trying to promote my Avon online store, not easy I tell you when you have zero money to put into it. Anyway I saw a really cool idea for a whiteboard animation with a moving hand, that looked like someone was drawing and writing , and all I had to do was put in the text and select a few cartoony pictures and the animation software did it all for me. Excellent especially when you are the worst artist ever, I make stick figures look bad and I didn't think that was possible, but I do know how to use a computer and the whiteboard animation was extremely easy for my Avon online store projects. A few clicks of my mouse button and some typing my store name in and hopefully some catchy phrases, and it was all done. I recently treated myself to Avons True Colour, flawless cream to powder foundation as I was nearly running out of foundation and feel for me it's an essential, especially when I'm a busy mum who doesn't always get a lot of sleep, I need something to make me look a little bit normal , especially on the morning nursery run when I sometimes feel like a zombie. This works great for me as it's quick and easy to use, I love the makeup sponge that makes is easy to apply the foundation. I went for the, natural beige colour as I have medium skin tone and tan really easy, this colour blends in really well with my skin tone. I also love it doesn't dry my skin out as I have extremely dry skin and my skin is hypersensitive, ive had no problems with this foundation on my skin. Right it's the day of receiving my first Avon order, I'm like a kid at Christmas, can't wait, I'm feeling a mix of impatientness and excitement. My first thoughts where my friends and family and will try my neighbours and see how I get on.
