Life of a Avon rep, finding customers

So I received my first campaign books from my sales leader and thought right how do I find customers now, where do I start?
My first thoughts where my friends and family and will try my neighbours and see how I get on.
So I created a Facebook page, I thought a good name was, Avon uk by Suzanne, hopefully by doing this at least my friends and family and hopefully I few others would know what I was doing and I would hopefully get a few sales out of it.
Close people to me where very supportive and made up a few orders and a few of my neighbours helped a bit too.
My mind started going further a field and one of the many reasons I joined was because I loved that you where given a online shop, it would work great for me as have sold products online before and loved selling online and with my two hyperactive children and being a busy mum, loved that I would have the opportunity to sell Avon products online without leaving my house, which for me really appealed to me.
But to have a online shop you need it to be seen by the Internet world, not a easy task when there is much else out there and so much competition.
First thing was to go down the social media line, it's free and easiest when you know how, this was also a learning curb for me as knew Facebook very well, but had never used anything else.
I signed up with Instagram and tumblr and started posted lots of things connected with Avon.
I'm still waiting for my first Avon online customers, I know there out there, (somewhere) but it's still early days for me, as I'm still new to the Avon business.
